Every community ought to prevent bad actors from sticking around.
If you don't weed your garden, it will look like trash. Allowing the weeds to grow will cause them to multiply until the garden is unrecognizable. At a certain point, it is far less work to dig up the whole garden than to try removing every weed, especially as they have tangled themselves around the flowers.
Standing together with people who are similar to you but who do not share your values is a lost cause. You may find a larger community with more people to strengthen each other to be a positive thing, but it will not end well.
If you must, it is better to be a flower in a pot by its lonesome. Have courage. Have integrity. If you shall wilt, it will at the very least be on your own terms instead of the weeds'.
