i never considered the fact i might have had a sinus infection before but i'm pretty sure that's what it was. glad it is mostly cleared up now but still recovering. i haven't been free of this sickness since like late july man.

found out that my normie friends actually enjoyed wolverine and that the scent vision shit was actually really helpful because they didn't know where to go sometimes. one of them said he liked the cube in god of war laufey.

there's just really no saving these people man you can only smile and say that you're glad they enjoy it.

Just got back from the Resident Evil movie. You know, I'm actually (mostly) impressed. It was a good movie. I'm not exactly thrilled that it was yet another example of "This is MY take on your beloved video game" instead of just another story within the continuity of the series, but at least the film was ( mostly) good.

The protagonist was a bit of a whiny beta retard but that was (mostly) in service of humor which was done pretty well I think.

Everything was awesome pretty much right up until the ending. As soon as the dude gets into the hospital the movie falls apart completely and everything that happens is 100% a plot contrivance that only exists as a way to get to the ending that the director wanted, an ending which fucking sucks.

So, as decent as the rest of the movie is, it ends on a really sour note that just pissed me off. Much in the same way that Cyberpunk's ending made me feel. Really cheap and "oh so subversive" because the director thinks he's doing something different and edgy or some shit.

Also, again, I would have vastly preferred that a RESIDENT EVIL movie takes place in the RESIDENT EVIL universe and timeline instead of "Zach Cregger's Resident Evil" but that's a different topic entirely that is somewhat separate from the film itself.

5/10 because everyone in this movie is a stupid idiot funny retard.
