My coworker couldn't get slack working on her computer and thought that it was because she uses Brave instead of Chrome. Turns out she hadn't updated Brave in like 8 months because she never closes her browser lmao

I told her about the security risk and how she could close Brave and still keep all her tabs.

It's crazy to me how some people can have their entire lives and jobs dependent on a computer that they know absolutely nothing about.

alright if it's game updates you want and don't want to deal with the rest of my bullshit then follow @aftermidnight okay? okay.

if i wanted to get rid of my boosts i would either have to do it manually or an hero my entire account.

so fuck it, we ball, i guess.

i may not delete everything and go private after all. it doesn't work on mastodon the same way it works on twitter, it would seem. boosts still get shown to everyone who can visit your page, whether they follow you or not, so it kind of defeats the purpose.

guess i'll just have to fuckin deal with it because i still wanna boost stuff.
