Misskey has been fucking with the compression stuff on the newest release and it was converting all my stuff to Webp, which is sometimes not supported on Mastodon instances. I have been complaining about the Webp shit for ages and managed to mitigate it in old releases but it was changed completely.

I found the new code in misskey/packages/frontend/src/composables/use-uploader.ts
I changed everything to compress to JPEG. PNGs will also be converted so be mindful of that; in old releases, compression never worked for PNGs, so I just upload those as is if transparency is needed.

My first ever piece of Sameko Saba... Had to look up a lot of butterchalk art for this one. They do this pose in such a lovely way. Also I am very certain that is not a natural tail...
