@beardalaxy Simple, he's an NPC.
No moral compass of his own.
He just did what the industry around him did at the time.

"God of War" came out 2005.
For reference, "Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time" came out 2003, it's sequels "Warrior Within" and "Two Thrones" followed yearly, 2004 and 2005 respectfully.

Some NPCs are competent craftsmen, but who knows... some people rise up the ranks by bringing people their coffee (Kathleen Kennedy became CEO of Lucas Films doing that).

Metal music, gore, and edgy characters, were all the rage in the 2000s.
From "Twisted Metal" (2001) to "Ninja Gaiden" (2004), from "Yakuza" (2005) to "Dead Rising" (2006).

Fuck, going over the list, all the 3D GTA games came out same time as well.
2001 to 2004 saw the release of GTA 3, Vice City, and 4!
GTA 5 was a bit of an anomaly taking so long to release (2013).

this is why it is important to READ amazon reviews instead of just looking at the ratings.

this idiot bought the 15mph version and is mad it doesn't go 20mph.

@PanzerTan Funny how it uses "...target them with products that PREY on insecurities and anxiety..."
Could've phrased it differently, but it chose "prey".
Implying everything that follows does not treat or alleviate, but only exploits such issues.

illegals die.
zogbots die.
cartel members die after the .zoggov comes in and MOABs them.

win. win. win.
lol, do it.
