@NEETzsche No, basically you have to control the threshold between the light and shadows on the material to switch between one texture or the other. Everything is done in real time so you can control the rotation of light, for example, and the material reacts accordinly.
@fluffy @siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz this tutorial it's more or less the gist of it i just added some other fuckery to control the darkness and grain of the material.
@fluffy @siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz you can see CGmatters's cross hatching tutorial to see more or less how part of this it's done.
@waifu Perdon, quise decir que si no has posteado mas spooktobers

Thanks man. This year i've been getting out of my comfort zone a lot and i've been doing things that normally i won't dare to make when i have more time, i wonder why?
@MrNobody @LukeAlmighty I have not in fact touched anything related to grease pencil, maybe i should look up a tutorial or something
@fluffy @siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz
This is the file i was using last night to figure out how to create the shader, the nodes are a bit of a mess but i guess you can understand how it works.
@fluffy @siinclaiir@neckbeard.xyz it's a lot of toon shading fuckery and some cross hatching texture
@LukeAlmighty thanks! ![]()
