I mean, I am 100% for supporting any non-sexual relation between people of different age groups.
But in this case, I cust cannot defend the insane levels of creepiness. We literally cannot have an 18yo talking with a 17yo without entire armies of feminists being ready to burn the building, but this somehow did slip unchecked???

@LukeAlmighty I think it slipped unchecked because it was a different time. The pedo hysteria came with gen alpha I believe and social media wasn't as ever present as it is now.

It's an immortal werewolf getting a magical sense of protection and adoration to an immortal vampire hybrid that will grow to romance as she gets older.
The reason why people don't freak out about it nearly as much is simple: it's written for women and not for men. It is hypocritical on their part but it doesn't mean we also have to be hypocrites.
