I guess they already have cables in the ground so they are running it along side
@r000t @skylar

@skylar
Yes but the cable is always only a few % of the cost
@r000t @sjw@neckbeard.xyz

@skylar
Well yes but that's expensive so it isn't worth it running a cable for a few subscribers

The racial slur of the day is Racially-Challanged.

It is used to refer to Non-Whites.

Deep lore: "Politically correct" way to insult people based solely on race.

It's some sort of AI hash that should recognize crops, rotations or small modifications of the image.

I know. I was extremely surprised when @sjw@neckbeard.xyz showed me the 5G performance.
The other carriers here aren't much different tbh in most aspects. 5G is currently the only thing where there is a significant difference.

@matrix You tell people you can have affordable healthcare and you can have "body positivity" but you can't have both and they short circuit

@LukeAlmighty
Take it on the bright side, we aren't the most expensive :blobshrug:

Ohh, that makes sense. It's going to take time to build out the network and for people to get phones with 5G anyway.
We still have 2G and 3G running. 3G is going to be the first to go since it has coverage only in cities because the network started only getting build in like 2009, so they gave up on it soon and went straight to 4G. I hope 2G stays long, because the coverage is solid.

Czech T-Mobile is planning to limit 5G to special expensive plans. I wonder how this turns for them since they were the last to start building a 5G network, currently have the smallest (basically none) coverage and the other operators don't limit 5G.
