The new #Fedilab website uses Material design from #BeerCss https://www.beercss.com/
We started to upgrade #FediPlan and we might switch to this new design.
PS: Currently, you need first to upload media before adding a description with FediPlan.
Join us for socializing and snacks on Friday, May 3, 18:00 - 20:00 at the FSF office before a weekend of exciting talks, discussions, and workshops at #LibrePlanet 2024: https://libreplanet.org/2024/other-activities/
Trying to package #Amazfish into #flatpak. Flatpak doesn't provide way to start back end as systemd service. Otherwise it looks working. It needs to be polished still. Your feedback and tests are welcome. https://github.com/flathub/flathub/pull/5173
In a world where technology can mean the difference between life and death, can we afford the restrictions proprietary software places on progress? Watch and share "Rewind" (Spoiler alert: the answer is "no".) https://u.fsf.org/rewind
Assigning your copyright to the FSF helps defend the GPL and keep software free. Thanks to Alexander Kozhevnikov, Ankit Raj Pandey, Artem Iurchenko, Felix Lechner, Loïc Lemaître, Toshihiro Umehara, and Zebbediah Beck for assigning their copyright to the FSF! This week's donation went to FOSS RTS game "OpenHV". It's a Open Source 90s Pixelart Science-Fiction Real Time Strategy game with Multiplayer (LAN and internet) support, competent skirmish AI as well as an integrated map editor. The code is licensed using GPLv3.0 for the code and Creative Commons Attribution_ShareAlike v4.0 International for the assets. The game is available on Github; as a Flatpak as well as on Itch. The game is made using the OpenRA engine.
Their official site is here:
Their Itch.io page is here:
The project has a presence on Matrix:

If you wish to donate to the project you can do so through their Open Collective:
2D action platformer "Princess Sword" was released recently. It is a mix of platforming and castle defesne game. You have to find all forty crystals and bring them back to the princess in groups of ten all while defeating enemies that continue to spawn before they reach the princess. It has a native Linux version, is available DRM free at Itch and was made using the FOSS Godot engine.

I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
