@realcaseyrollins @sim @OrganicNectar96 @shebang It's one thing to get beaten up for non-violent offences, but behaving remotely aggressive towards armed agents of the state and getting surprised when you get shot will always be pants-on-head retarded in my book.
@adrint @realcaseyrollins @OrganicNectar96 @shebang Exactly. People can support police reform, but how do they support violence like this? If there are good reforms that happen, I hope that people won't look back at this time and think it was the violence or destruction here that made it happen.

How crazy, I would've never realized that they used programmers to program games

@djsumdog @SandiaMesa @realcaseyrollins Yeah. Honestly, these protests need more people like this. People that the youths can follow, so that when they are tempted with violence or looting, they say no to it. Because they have a more powerful message of non-violence and peaceful protesting. I do feel like they would be heard, like there is a lot more good that come from it these days.

But you need good people in every section, like good lawmakers who create the laws needed. Politicians who can get those refroms through, no matter what party they are from. Good people in the police force, making sure those reforms happen. Some policeman may need support and help, especially with channelling their fear and stress in a productive way. Other policeman need to be thrown out of the force, I'm thinking more the types who are abusive. The police force need to get better at detecting them and dealing with them on the spot.
@Locksmith @djsumdog @realcaseyrollins Yeah, that figure might just become a mouthpiece. Because this movement didn't have one leader for people to rally behind at the start, I'm not sure it'll work at this point. Doesn't help that you have antagonistic groups looking to make things turn violent.

@realcaseyrollins That would be just one of the forms of power at play.
Could mention others :

* The Masters of the Universe (as they call themselves, no kidding) at Wall St.
* Lobbies for large corporations and external State agents.
* Health care industry shrills.
& the corrupt mostly representatives at the federal seat of power.

Huge issues, and any solutions will come with friction and worse.
