@tomie@Mr_NutterButter depression doesn't necessarily mean sadness or wanting to kill yourself or something. it can be just general exhaustion or apathy too.
i don't have bipolar but i have cyclothymia, which is in the same "family" of mood disorders. there are definitely swings of absolute extreme motivation as well as not wanting to do anything at all.
the key to helping me get over the latter was to just do something on whatever i'm working on. anything, it doesn't matter, for at least 30 minutes. every day. often times it'll be longer than that and that motivation will spark again.
the only reason my game is being released next year is because i've been following this sort of work ethic since march of 2023 (shoutouts to @xianc78 for showing me this sakurai video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IN-Uh2VfL8c) otherwise it'd probably still be out a ways. it might seem like you're going nowhere sometimes if all the energy you have is that 30 minutes, but it definitely helps.
