Huge idea I just came up with

So, I was thinking about housing the prototype kiosk in something like a PiCade with a hole for the USB port drilled in. I think the PiCade would probably be the best fit for the prototype because I would like the thing to be coin operated if the owner chooses to do so.

I could probably write a UI in C++ with SFML. I would like the interface to be as user friendly as possible. It should be able to browse the files on the kiosk and the files the user has in on the flash drive and the user can then exchange files that way. I will probably write the software and test it on a regular computer first before building the actual prototype.

I honestly don't know how long this will take. I have other things to balance in my life of course, but this is something I would love to do. And if someone wants to beat me to it, go right ahead, make money off of it, take all the credit. I don't care. I feel like this is something worth making and I don't care who does it.

They aren't freaking out about the all the debugging they have to do. They are freaking out because you are one of those people who adds the Greek Alphabet to math equations.

Added a Game Over and Title screen. Both are currently blank and are red and black respectively.

Added a basic HUD. It's just text right now, but I plan on replacing the HP text with an actual health bar.

Right now, I"m suffering from writer's block on enemy design because I can't come up with new enemy ideas. Maybe I should replay Kid Icarus for inspiration, but I don't want this to be a straight up clone of the game. I always try to come up with at least something different.

Created a new type of enemy. It moves in a sine curve. Though the movement needs some tweaking if it is going to spawn in groups like this.

One pound of pure baking soda is nearly 6X cheaper than 16 oz of deodorant, so it is actually cheaper to just use baking soda as a deodorant than it is to spread toxic chemicals onto your armpits. There is literally no excuse.

So I've read Post Civ by Strangers In a Tangled Wilderness. It seems interesting and could probably be better than Anti-Civ or primitivist ideologies (for those who don't know Post-Civ just wants to remove civilization but keep modern technology, unlike primitivists). I like how it's basically for the adventure minded person, and maybe we could be more self-reliant if we start creatively finding use for scrap and broken parts. But I'm still skeptical on how feasible it would be. It still seems like an ideology for someone who plays too many open-world games.

I just wish that the writing wasn't short. They could've refuted common talking points from primitivists and anarchists who still want to preserve civilization but it doesn't. There also doesn't seem to be many other Post-Civ writings out there.

And before any RWer calls me out for linking to an article on The Anarchist Library, Post-Civs reject leftist talking points.
