@Moon The MAGA movement is not republican. It has a lot of republicans in it .. and there are people who always vote republicans .. but after this is over, if Biden is in office, the republicans will lose MAGA. It's almost a different party now. Many Americans will see the vote as corrupt, worthless and we're return to another era of Bush v Gore where nobody has any faith at all in the election system (and they shouldn't).

@Moon it wasn't that long ago when more limited devices could ship with gimped browsers with barely to no js support and a lot of sites worked just fine

@guizzy Seeing the GameCube with the Xbox Series X makes me miss the days when home consoles were small and compact.

@Moon Voat is programmed in C# and runs on Linux, last time I checked.

@mrsaturday @461 @heavens_feel@neckbeard.xyz @JapanAnon @coolboymew I'm not into anime, but I do know if you want to get into more obscure stuff (when it comes to any medium), then you have to go beyond stuff like Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchy Roll and sometimes you have to resort to piracy.

@coolboymew @461 @heavens_feel@neckbeard.xyz @JapanAnon A sneakernet is basically a "computer network" based off of transferring files via removal-able storage devices (flash drives, SD cards, etc.). Seems inefficient, but can be anonymous as paying with cash and is commonly used to smuggle illegal information in countries like North Korea.

A meshnet is a type of computer network where all the nodes (connected devices) are connected directly to as many other nodes as possible. So, there is no need for routers, modems, DNS servers, ISPs, etc. Essentially the entire infrastructure of the network is peer-to-peer.

@461 @heavens_feel@neckbeard.xyz @JapanAnon @coolboymew You could circumvent the physical infrastructure of the internet entirely through things like Sneakernets, wireless meshnets, etc.

@461 @heavens_feel@neckbeard.xyz @Moon @coolboymew @JapanAnon Even governments can't shutdown torrents since they're P2P. Even if the site hosting the torrent files goes offline the torrents themselves will still exist as long as people are seeding them.

@coolboymew @461 @heavens_feel@neckbeard.xyz @JapanAnon @Moon I think WebTorrent could fix this. It's basically a JS torrent client that runs in your browser. It's what BitChute uses.

The Supreme Court of the United States is about to issue a verdict where they award Trump 34 more electoral college votes.

Don't believe me? Google Trump rule 34 to find out more.

Companies House, the British registrar of newly formed companies, has forced a firm to rename itself from

""><SCRIPT SRC=HTTPS://MJT.XSS.HT> LTD

On the grounds that merely including the name of the company on a web-page (including the Companies House website) could trigger cross-site scripting attacks.
