I'm surprise that the person who debunked this theory was Bill Trinnen given that he is probably behind a bunch of SJW shit at NoA.

And it makes it more depressing when they are using fictional characters for validity. Not actual, real-life role models, but fucking pixels and polygons. They get excited over the slightest hint that a character might be trans or some color pattern that looks like the trans flag. Despite the fact that these Japanese developers are most likely transphobic and racist. It just more proof that they are fucking delusional.
