@lanodan @stuff @hj @coolboymew Well, I actually been there but I don't remember smelling anything that bad, but maybe I wasn't there long enough. I heard that some places smell like sulfur.

@lanodan @stuff @hj @coolboymew I actually heard from people who have been to Paris that this is the case. But I heard that Venice is worse.

@Terry I'm more surprised that people still don't know that it's a bot account.

Or just people in your clique.

Now on wikipedia gamergate is a "harassment campaign". Because "controversy" was too neutral I guess.

@pomstan western vegans are cringe, trying to substitute meat and other animal-based products when alot of non-western cuisines already can manage meals without animal-based products very well

The actions of the state in Australia are making the United Kingdom’s current dystopian reality look like paradise in comparison. Australians are currently living under one of the most ridiculous dictatorial regimes in the world, second only to New Zealand where Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has locked down the entire country due to a single positive test result for the Wuhan virus.

@shebang Let's just hope some solar flare or a small GRB takes these satellites out.

Thanks NASA! This is a good usage of the money US taxpayers give you. If NASA wasn’t a bunch of poltroons they’d find a way to launch the WEF and all its members into the sun.

Fucked up stuff coming down the pipe. Boring, drab, neverending and senseless dystopia.

I honestly don't give a shit about this Afghan withdraw. Just a fucking waste of time and mental energy.

@icedquinn @djsumdog @Zerglingman @shebang Either way, I think new frontiers through things like Seasteading can allow us to experiment with new and niche political/economic systems, not necessarily just forms of libertarianism or anarchism. It's like our the US demonstrated to the rest of the world that a constitutional republic can work.

I think most of us can agree that the current system is not working the way we're expecting which is why so many people are embracing more niche ideologies. I think the best way to prove or disprove that these systems can work is in break-away societies.

@icedquinn @djsumdog @Zerglingman @shebang I could probably get a job at my brother's place but from what I heard the whole vaccine controversy is so bad that some won't go back to work unless everyone is vaccinated while others refuse to get the vaccine, so they have to do everything remote and they can't take any jobs right now.

I'm still an ancap but I don't expect it to happen anytime soon. I expect it to happen on some new frontier like a space colony or seastead which is why I'm a frequent donor of the Seasteading Institute.
