@apt This was your excuse to draw furry stuff.
@fleur Honestly, I feel like even finishing high school was a mistake.
@ooignignoktoo @Whitewall_Blasphemy @noyoushutthefuckupdad Yeah, but my hometown (and surrounding cities) is full of people who are loyal to their local businesses which gives me hope.
@Whitewall_Blasphemy @noyoushutthefuckupdad @ooignignoktoo Honestly, the only pizza restaurants that are worth it anymore are local ones. Which thankfully are plenty in my area.
@ooignignoktoo @noyoushutthefuckupdad It pisses me off when there is a pizza party and the pizza is Little Caesar's out of all the brands they could choose. Only thing that would be worse is having frozen pizzas warmed up for the party.
@kerosene I mean die as in so many people stop using it that it becomes unusable. It just seems like everyone lost faith in crypto because governments are trying their best to regulate it to hell and the blockchain meme is being used for shit like Digital ID so people are conflating crypto with Great Reset shit like that. This also isn't getting into NFTs which use the same blockchain technology but are a huge scam.
@ooignignoktoo @noyoushutthefuckupdad I had one recently and it was fucking garbage. I only had found nostalgia for it because we use to go there all the time before we got a Little Ceasar's which was much cheaper but was much worse.
I really hope that crypto doesn't die completely. It's still a useful tool. It's just that we got idiots using it as an investment and people treating it like a panacea while not considering other alternatives like precious metals.
It's a tool that has certain uses. I think it's best for trading digital goods and services while physical currencies like precious metals should be for trading locally.
@PhenomX6 I used it to buy books counter-economically and donated to some services and libertarian projects.
I hope Monero goes back up again, though. It's the only crypto worth a damn right now.
@cee You could probably find like-minded people in your area using this website, but registrations are currently closed because they are updating their software.
@cee It's nice that you are still looking out for his trees. Is anyone going to inherit the farm?

An announcement from the Federal Reserve (“the Fed”) about a change in interest rates generally correlates directly to stock prices and trading activity. For example, if the Fed raises interest rates, then stock prices are liable to fall.
In general, traders eagerly await announcements that come from the Federal Reserve. On Fed days, trading volume is notably higher; and on the day preceding a Fed day, trading is usually relatively calm.
This is pretty much common knowledge for anyone with a passing interest in publicly traded securities.
This is also ignoring the actual business cycle consequences of monetary policy, too.
