@ArdainianRight There's the nihilist side to it, then there is also the idea that humans are nothing but a cancer to the Earth (wars, pollution, etc) and it would be better if humans were to just die out. I see a lot of vegans eventually becoming this and it's fucking scary.

@ryo @mcread I was still working in fast food when the scamdemic first happened. I was actually the first to wear one only because that way I could get away with not smiling at customers. I actually didn't mind the mask for the most part even if it's just a placebo, but everyone started making it a virtue signaling symbol by wearing them in their profile pics and people ended up making it a fashion statement and I got fucking sick of it.
There were also people who were wearing gloves and even goggles but that quickly died out. Thank God.
@ryo I just never bothered learning shit like Slackware or Gentoo. I haven't even fully mastered bash and I have been using Linux in some form for over a decade. Most of my computer knowledge has been going towards game development which is all done in an environment that is frowned upon in the Linux community (.NET/Mono).
@nosleep I always liked the OnLive's controller for whatever reason. I never used one though.
@ryo @mcread There were people still hanging out in parks in my area even back during "stay at home unless you absolutely have to" orders. There was even a bicycle tournament at that time. Seriously, nobody gave a fuck. People only wore masks later on because those were enforced, but other than that nobody really gave a shit.
@ryo I only stick to Linux Mint because I'm not some diehard *nix autist. I probably would still be using Windows if it wasn't blatant spyware and wasn't going for the OS as a service route.

The digital agency here in Japan exists since last year.
So far, they've been a danger to the general public.
All they have done is providing epic disservice.
They came with the lethal injection passport soystem (which was only ever used by a select few weebs during the last winter Gomiket).
Then they came with the the very dystopian MySOS crapp that only prevented people from entering Japan (both nationals and foreigners included) and it was so bad that it got reduced to just a color code for border customs use only.
And of course they're in charge of the very scammy shitcoin called the digital Yen (CBDCs).
While COCOA isn't technically their crapp since it was made before the agency came online, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd take it over after the agency got launched, which is basically the contact tracing crapp that literally nobody ever used.
And I wouldn't be surprised if they'd be in charge of the MyNumber soystem now, the card literally nobody wants, a card so good that they had to coerce people dependent on the medical hell soystem in order to make them adopt it.
