I've never made an in-game purchase. I worked next to people who had been at a mobile game company where their entire business model revolved around the 2%~5% of their players that put in a few thousand into shitty mobile games. I dated a moron U Washington student who had put $200 into certain mobile games.
I think there is some concern/empathy for people who turn gambling addict with these games, but I think that empathy is misplaced. Who gives a shit. They have responsibility over their lives. If they want to make in-game purchases and get addicted to MMOs to the point where it costs them their jobs/family/lives .. it's on no one but them.

@ArdainianRight @hachi I actually used to be all for world government because I thought that was the only way we could colonize the stars. I was exposed to too much sci-fi media as a kid. They all had the message that uniting the world will allow us to unleash our full-potential.

Anyone have good #3dprinter recommendations? I’m not looking to spend too much on it. I suspect I won’t use it very much, and I’ll mostly use it for fabricating little disposable toys for my kids, and parts for small “maker” projects.
Has to work well with linux as I don’t have any other kind of computer.
