Enemies are no longer hard coded into the map. They are now loaded from the map file. Ignore the enemy placement. It moved before I could take the screenshot. (My screenshot utility is probably delayed)

The first two numbers defined the level width and height.

The block of numbers are the tiles.

Everything after that are objects. They are listed by object type and then the x and y coordinates.

>That game would probably be seen as problematic by Matt the tranny now.

That game sounds more like some vegan commie commentary on how capitalism is abusive towards animals, even if you do play as the villain.

A friend of mine (not on fedi) is currently looking to promote the games he makes, which are all currently non-commercial. He regularly releases beta versions of his newest game, first to supporters and a bit later to the general public, while the finished ones are available for download.
Since there are a few people here into indie games, I'll be posting a list of links to his work.

Feel free to share this post if you think your followers might find it interesting.

>only two gender options

I see that there is still some sanity left in you.

@Kyonko802 @ArdainianRight @ChristiJunior @rasterman @Tamamo Making games might not be their full-time job. I never heard of anyone making a living off of selling games on itch.io. The market is way to saturated to make a living unless you go viral or are already established.

Well if @ArdainianRight would stop being a console peasant, he would probably give it a chance.

It's just a Xevious inspired shmup. Nothing really special, but my point is that you can find some non-pozz out there if you know where to look, even if involves searching hours on itch.io and the Indie Game's Database (I think they're still around).

A lot of video game related imageboards have /agdg/ threads where indie and hobbyist gamedevs show off their games. You can also check there. There are even the lulz-games that you are talking about.

@PhenomX6 If he's so concerned about overpopulation, shouldn't he love covid for allegedly depopulating the world so much?

@lanodan My dad was the only one with a smartphone or a laptop for the longest time. I didn't get a laptop until 2013. I got my first smartphone around 2015.

@lanodan No because for a long time all are Wi-Fi was ever used for was online Mario Kart DS matches.

@shebang I had a B&W Kindle back in 2012. It had a browser. I didn't think it supported animated GIFs though, but I remember that scrolling on the thing causes a lot of ghosting.

Honestly, it kind of reminds me of that shitty Game.com handheld with it's abysmal refresh rate.

Animations on eInk have an earie quality to them. The display looks almost identical to paper, so seeing a moving object on it feels unnatural lol

@Tadano If he is a troll, he probably made up that response after I suggested it.

@ghostaf @ArdainianRight @Effortless@noagendasocial.com I have little experience with electric stoves. My grandmother has one at her house and it fucking sucks.

Glowbull warming?
"Antarctic icebergs still exist today where 1700-era sailors spotted and tracked them"
"A new study comparing observations of large Antarctic icebergs from the 1700s with modern satellite datasets shows the massive icebergs are found in the same areas where they were pinpointed three centuries ago, reports Phys.org."
Wait, what, but, Goreball warming should melt the icebergs!!

@Tadano @hachi I've probably shouldn't have suggested that. Holy shit.
