@Tadano @mischievoustomato @PurpCat @Zettour @lewdthewides @meso My issue is the church. Personally i think society should be more conscious and critical about their relationship with technology, but that should be on a personal level not decided by whatever arbitrary choice of the Church.

How to integrate your blog with the Fediverse:

Option 1: spend years developing an ActivityPub WordPress plugin in PHP. Your blog shows up as a giant plaintext post with poor formatting. You get DDOSed constantly. 😕

Option 2: integrate into a static site generator. Now you can have the same poor quality post format. You no longer get DDOSed, but instead your post isn't delivered to your followers automatically (unless you manually boost from a real fedi account), and nobody can follow you. 😕

Option 3: just paste a damn link to your blog. Many hours (and your sanity) have been spared in favor of a better UX for your users. 😃

@xianc78 Only when there are "blade runners" like in the UK, because they overplayed their hand to the point people couldn't afford to live. They're still at it btw.
