@waltercool The ironic thing is that Gmail, Outlook, and Hotmail blacklist self-hosted servers "due to spam" to the point that it's even more difficult to host your own email server these days.

The amount of spam from Gmail, Outlook or Hotmail accounts on internet is insane.

Free email providers should be blacklisted or low trust domains. They don't do a good job preventing that.

Twitter schizo has noticed that sexbots are liking posts that have loaded political keywords.

If only he knew there was an alternative programmed by sex pests and woke techbros and run on basement servers.

>Which is why he was shilling a failed console. The idea was great and the Steam Deck did this later to much success, along with other "handheld PCs" it's spawned (a friend said that the Steam Machines would boom if Valve had done first party HW and not third party), and he only cared about the idea (some of them were really good) and raw power.

Even before the Steam Deck, handheld gaming PCs sounded much more appealing than open-source consoles. Devices like the OpenPandora saw a niche success and up until recently, GPD Win devices also received similar praise.

Open-source consoles are just PCs. There is literally no point in them, especially how easy it is to play PC games "console-style" these days.

@cassidyclown Stop hacking into people's accounts, Daniel Hudson.

@BigDawg869789 @ItsSkyDragonz Just remember that some (if not all) of your old posts are still visible from some instances.

@ItsSkyDragonz I think you can only request deletions from admins.

@applejack Well everyone but me jumped to the "diversity hire" conclusion without digging deeper.

@gentoobro Sure, but most of them aren't gamedevs.

Alex Gleason's cringe, vegan Zelda-clone doesn't count.

How have they not managed to understand that you can't trust the client after all these years? Any anti-cheat software running on the user's machine can and will be compromised. The only unbeatable anti-cheat system runs on the servers and watches everything the client sends very carefully. And even then, the difference between an aimbot and an amazing player is vanishingly thin.

The solution to online cheating, I think, is to let players blacklist being matched with other specific players. Publish the stats of how many (but not necessarily which) players every player has blocked and been blocked by. Let players set a minimums or maximums blocking, being blocked, or ratios thereof for who they are willing to match with by default. The cheaters will all end up in their own little cheater bubble, gleefully aimbotting each other.

Everyone when the see the latest news:

"How can I shape this story to fit my worldview?"

@hootsmcboots @raccoon @djsumdog @Moon That smiley face water tower looks familiar. It seems like I passed by that town before.

@Mr_NutterButter I plan on including occasional boss fights. They will be on their own floors with a single room.

@djsumdog @raccoon @Moon I had them two years ago. Washing everything on hot didn't work. I sprayed rubbing alcohol in places where they were nesting and laying eggs. It dissolves their exoskeletons and causes them to dehydrate.

@djsumdog @raccoon @Moon They almost went extinct during that time, but the ones that survived apparently are more resistant to pesticides (including the ones that aren't banned) and can hold more blood.

@djsumdog @raccoon @Moon This is exactly how bedbugs became an even bigger nightmare after they were almost eradicated back in the 1950s.
