It's literally ripped from the front-end of Gab's Mastodon fork, IIRC.
@beardalaxy @PurpCat @j PleromaFE seems more like old school (2006-2009?) Twitter's UI. I think GNU Social was also like that for a while. My main gripe with it is that you need to press a button to refresh the feed and the constant parsing errors (t.map is not a function, JSON.parse error).
@beardalaxy @PurpCat @j You could try SoapBox, if the Pleroma instance you are using supports it, but I don't know if Alex Gleason is going to maintain that anymore.
@PurpCat @beardalaxy @j I'm honestly glad that our instance is running on Mastodon though. Our existence spites Eugene Rochko.
Reminder that 25% of the cost of construction is government regulation and taxes, at least.
Building a deck for a client in the city, we don't even have a permit yet and LOCAL regulations have resulted in ~5% increase in the cost of the build (planned for, but just a reminder that you don't hate bureaucracy and "what's one more regulation going to hurt" legislators enough.)
@gabriel I bet these shoplifting blogs, forums, and subreddits are secretly funded by facial recognition companies just to get stores to implement them.
