Do we really have free speech? It sure doesn't seem like it when courts allow this sort of thing:
"The music publishers’ inducement theory partly relies on a handful of public statements by Elon Musk, which they argue demonstrate that X encouraged its users to infringe."
What was that ''inducement"?
Apparently at some point Elon Tweeted:
“[Truncated] DMCA Is a Plague On Humanity”
Yes- his disgust for a law is being called an act of encouragement rather than a set of words actually encouraging infringement.
BUT even if he encouraged it that should (whether or not it is or will be, and it probably won't be) be protected.
It's the right if not duty of every person to advocate against unjust laws and to disobey. You don't get to write off wrongs just because there is a law.
@SuperDicq @graf I knew a lot of people who left fedi because they thought that Poast killed the comfy and open-mindness aspect of it. Though I personally thought that an instance like Poast was inevitable given that the original 8chan died (and the drama going on with 8kun and the bunkers) and Gab pandering to boomers instead of standing on the principles of free speech. It was only a matter of time before they find the fedi.
@graf@poa.st I think most people honestly wanted to start shit because the Poast userbase were especially annoying chuds to deal with early on back when you were advertising on places like imageboards and shit. Those people have either left or mellowed out by now.
@s8n @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @_gigabyte_ The only person I knew who was using it heavily was Dave from Computing Forever. Everyone else seemed to have used it as an overglorified RSS feed and barely used it after promoting it. I bet most were being paid to promote it. It always seemed to me like "that other Gab". Really no reason to use it when Gab (before Torba's downward spiral) already existed and was way more popular.
@FaggotTourney I vote for SMetzeler.
@Kerosene But the A and B buttons are probably the best feeling buttons I have ever pressed on a handheld. Every other handheld's buttons feel like cheap junk in comparison.
@Kerosene It feels good, but it's too noisy for my liking. It's also unnecessary because the system is clearly designed for 2D games.
After watching DYKGaming's recent video on the NeoGeo Pocket (Color). I'll take back what I said about it because I regarded it as a disappointment and something only for SNK fans, but I was not aware of some of the unique features like having wireless multiplayer with up to 64 other players, which I think nobody has ever done.

I've also just bought one other game for it today: Fatal Fury Contact and I enjoyed it for what it was. Though the sub battery on my system needs to be replaced. This system requires two separate types of batteries. The sub battery is just a watch battery and it is required for some game's clock functionality. I've ordered a new one and I even plan on using this system as my alarm clock because why not.
