@rasterman @matrix That or he's actually a closeted gamer who just pretends to hate video games just to look cool. My Dad is a hardcore neo-conservative who pretends to hate video games but has beaten both Link's Awakening and Ocarina of Time.

Is that really the case? He does sound like the type of person who feels smarter just because they grew up without video games or TV. I knew a lot of guys back in high school who had this mentality.

I would like to go on real adventures too, but I would probably get killed instantly because I am an autist who can't pay attention to his surroundings,. So I will just stick with the video games.

@ChristiJunior@neckbeard.xyz @matrix I just find it hypocritical that he says that the only game you should play is chess while saying that all these video games do is let people live fantasies of conquering countries which is what chess basically is.
