re: Some thoughts on Privacy

>I heard about a very interesting and promising new browser project, surf, but it's years away to be used as a daily driver
Surf uses web-kit which is what Apple uses for Safari. It's also designed to be ultra-minimalist (as with all of the other programs by suckless), so don't expect things like add-ons, bookmarks, or even tabbed browsing. The suckless guys are even more autistic than the free software zealots.

>And secondly, there's not really an alternative right now.
PaleMoon has their own engine, Goanna which is a fork of Gecko before Firefox went Quantum, but I wouldn't trust PaleMoon for much longer as their lead developer has been blocking add-ons for moral reasons (he thinks that blocking ads, using anonymizers like Tor, or changing user agents "breaks the web").

@djsumdog @freemo @mur2501 Excellent point, but please never use a Rick and Morty quote every again.

@freemo @mur2501 Martin Luther King had some failed protests that got violent, his marriage was falling apart and FBI records the family kept suppressed showed he might have beaten women. You already mentioned Gandi. He peacefully pulled a nation away from the Raj, but his weird practices in trying to keep from being aroused and his nieces are weird. Orwell was started to make lists of people who shouldn't have jobs or be arrested based on their opinions, towards the end of his life.

If any of these people had lived a few more years, our image of them might be very different. If RMS had passed away two years ago, there would probably be some stuff in his honour. Some people would still hate him, but I don't think as many people would shit on his memory because there's no point.

@kura tranny shit is destructive and immoral when practiced by adults. when inflicted on children, who are too stupid to know any better, it takes on a whole new dimension of evil.

Tale of two headlines.

White man kills Asian women --> "White supremacy" "haunting" "Asian Americans"

Two Black girls kill an Asian Muslim man --> "The girls" "assaulted" an "Uber Eats driver" with a Taser, "which led" to "an accident" "in which" "he was fatally injured"

@ChristiJunior It doesn't even matter if they really believe in Satan. They exult in evil and perversion and use Satan as their mascot.

@Ricotta @ChristiJunior @NEETzsche @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @PROtoss987 @skylar I like how it solves the problem of rude and lazy teenagers. Making them work at a part-time job or have them do after-school sports is not enough.

And how is that a bad thing?

@PROtoss987 @ChristiJunior @NEETzsche @RehnSturm256@neckbeard.xyz @skylar This is part of the reason why I left conservatism. They really are just democrats with a speed limit.

@hfaust Or maybe pull a Chris Chan and call everyone a "niggo".
