I feel like my country is being run by a literal insane person because none of this makes any sense!

In the middle of the current curfew (that has been going on for probably over a year by now with changing hours every few weeks), new edicts are announced.

Seven days of no movement. Hours to facilitate this are in the photo.

No funeral services

Burials are allowed on movement days with a max of 15 people including mourners, clergy, grave diggers, and undertakers. Cant be longer than 30 mins.

No church services on the first Sunday, but churches are allowed on the following Sundays to have up to 20 people in the building.

No more than 20 people for weddings.

No more than 10 people for a “gathering” in a public space.

No more than 20 people for annual or extraordinary general meetings.


Someone read this and tell me this isn’t all arbitrary.

For me, the best way to increase society's resistance to insulting or offensive speech is to allow a lot more of it.

The US is a police state now. Americans should be out in the streets with pitchforks and torches, but instead they would rather shut up, cover their ears, and put their heads in the sand.
