@apropos Number 1 is going to be a tough one given how heavily regulated the medical industry is and people like Bill Gates can easily bribe the government for more regulation. So, any hope for that is most likely going to be in the black market.
@coolboymew Me when they finally force me to take the jab.
@apropos I sincerely hope most people will end up fine. I'm starting to get deeply concerned.
@vriska Your weirdness is your most redeeming quality.
@ArdanianRight I'm tired of people who are paranoid about COVID while also believing that we need to dramatically reduce the world population. Fucking hypocrites.
@coolboymew @kerosene @gear @mikuphile @Moon I'm technically a zoomer (born 1998) and I still remember the apolitical Internet, but yeah all these youngsters are just going to know Internet culture as mostly idpol.
@kerosene @gear @mikuphile @Moon @coolboymew Pretty much any "free-speech" community these days is basically /pol/. Which is why I was surprised to see that the free speech side of fedi was a lot more laid-back and open minded, but that slowly changed when Poast came around.
@coolboymew @gear @mikuphile @Moon I obviously came after that. But the arrival of Poast has truly drained the quality here. While there are some descent users there, that instance has made this place more of a far-right echo chamber and that shit is starting to get old.
@Moon @gear @mikuphile @coolboymew Other communities/networks have analogs to it. 2007 is considered 4chan's Eternal September, for example.
