@deprecated Everyone debates about loli but I never her anyone talking about rule 34 of child characters in western cartoons.
Early snowstorms, but "global warming is still a threat you guys".
@beardalaxy Those are her ears. She's a genetically modified human.
@beardalaxy Your PSO2 avatar reminds me of Rika from Phantasy Star IV.
@waltercool This really makes me happy. The will to resist tyranny is still within us.
Chile is starting to wake up against vaccine passports 👏
Chile is a 90% vaccinated country with two shots, but politicians introduced the third shot as requirement to the vaccine passport.
Even with 90% vaccinated people AND vaccine passport mandates, people have strict restrictions for restaurants, offices, stadiums, etc.
People who give up their freedoms for security, will get none of them.
@icedquinn The sad part is people impulse buying anything.

>Arrays are 1-indexed
>Indexing arrays are done in parentheses instead of square brackets which makes it hard to distinguish indexing from function calls
>Can't index temporary arrays for whatever reason
>Most unhelpful error messages
>Graphs don't appear in exported PDFs unless they are each in their own cell
>Functions have to be at the end of the file or in their own file (it's the only language I'm aware of where 1 function per file is the norm)
I'm pretty sure most scientists and engineers can handle something like Python. This is just garbage.

@GreenZeta Well we are reaching a grand-solar minimum, so it is expected to get colder in the coming decades, but I bet the mainstream will blame that on the COVID lockdowns reducing CO2 emissions.
@GreenZeta Okay it might not be that. But a lot of these COVID restrictions will be retooled to "fight climate change". People are already suggesting climate lockdowns.
@raucao free markets (that is markets defined by private trade without price fixing) is effectively the definition of capitalism.
State capitalism does not lead to greed or any of the other negative effects... The **state** leads to that. generally because the state suggests centralized control and power and that is contrary to free markets which is where the state has little or no control, which states dont want. So when capitalism exists it is often erroded by the state. So state anything often leads to a lack of free market and thus a lack of capitalism.
