World hunger is not an agricultural or overpopulation problem, it is a purely political matter.

@lanodan Your country is probably meeting its Agenda 21/30 goals.

@beardalaxy @sjw You should probably still get an actual website instead of a weebly one at some point.

@lain @Moon The only thing that's stopping the little guys is the rich guys using THE GOVERNMENT to squash them. That's not capitalism. Real capitalism has not been tried. :ancap:

@Moon these memes are made by people who think starting a business is only possible if you are ultra-rich or have 'powerful friends'

@lanodan @chjara@mk.absturztau.be @mia No. I mean that they are too lazy to write a compiler because they don't want to bother with parsing, coming up with grammars, etc. And there is probably no need to since if you made the bytecode interpreter, you probably have the custom opcode memorized.

@lanodan @chjara@mk.absturztau.be @mia Well, a lot a video games still use custom bytecode for scripted events among other things. It wouldn't surprise me if some didn't bother writing a language or compiler for said bytecode and just directly wrote it in hex.

@chjara@mk.absturztau.be @lanodan @mia It was due to limited resources. HAL used a custom made IDE running on a modified Twin-Famicom and it used a trackball to input code. AFAIK, only the enemy patterns were done straight from hex. Everything else was done in assembly.

@lanodan @chjara@mk.absturztau.be @mia
>Well… almost no one write raw machine code

Masahiro Sakurai wrote the enemy patterns in Kirby's Dream Land entirely in hexadecimal.
