It happened under obama and many times before, it's after the official declaration that we're in a recession that layoffs follow. We've actually been in a recession for awhile but now you're allowed to acknowledge it, and things are much worse than under obama

Start looking for work now because as hard as it is at the moment, it will be practically impossible soon. You will have to know someone to get in to a shitty job, as it is now you might be able to land a shitty job. Wish you didn't have to, but that's how it is

Hmm, this got me thinking. It's not really that much of a stretch to go from "I have gender dysphoria therefore I am a real woman/man" to "I have multiple personality disorder so therefore I must be multiple people."

I guess the "slippery slope" is a fallacy to some extent, but recent developments in society are definitely making it look like less and less like a fallacy.
