Mastodon.art is a good example of "how not to get Twitter artists out of their cage". The only thing worse than people who want to make the fedi Twitter are the people who want to make it more restrictive than Twitter. The same goes with Eugen's branding of "everything has to be Mastodon" which leads to like 20 instances calling themselves Mastodon, before waging jihad on Mastodon.tech instead of asking himself why are instances calling themselves this?

As many of you know, Z-library was recently shut down. This was done not mainly because of copyright violations, but to limit access to information.
The Deep State in the West cannot tolerate you having access to books that will tell you the truth. Z-lib is gone, Library Genesis is next, but the much bigger prize is the Internet Archive, a massive collection of old books that you're not supposed to read.
About two years ago we noticed that certain books were disappearing from the Internet Archive. We put out a call on our first Twitter account for you to send us your list of books of historical or cultural importance that should be backed up. We have done this. And now we're putting out that call again, to grow the Imperium Archive.
Please send us your list of important books that should not be allowed to die.

don't care much about struggling about blocklists because people will use them whether you want them to or not, and many if not most people will not care if you give them a good reason that the list or an entry in it is bad. you also have people on this network like the guy fediblocking somebody, being told it wasn't even the right person, and replying "what does that matter". you aren't going to fix these people.
