@coolboymew Oh, I didn't realize you posted that an hour ago. Somehow it was one of my most recent posts on this TL.
@coolboymew Sure.
ai art is a little different from ai music when it comes to people making money. most musicians don't make any money directly from their music. it's from their merch and concert tickets. like auto tune, people are going to dislike it if they go to a real show and notice that the singer isn't actually doing anything.
i'm a musician and make nearly 100% of my money from playing live. there's no way that what i do could be replaced by an AI. i'd be more likely to just be replaced by a radio or someone's ipod on shuffle and i actually have in the past. when people want live music, they want live music. some AI won't be the same.
@ryo She's been on here for a while.
@beardalaxy Either way, I think there is a lot of bullshit with this mental health obsession over the past few years or even decades. Like I'm not saying that there aren't any real mental health issues, but I also see it as an excuse to take away people's rights because "everyone is depressed".
For example, in this post-columbine world, it's been normalized for teachers and parents to invade teenager's privacy. I even hear from parents saying that they should read their children's diaries/journals, and of course there is the Internet and kids internet usage but there is a whole other argument with that.
@PraxisOfEvil @ChristiJunior Nobody is going to take that seriously if it's happening on April Fools.
@meowski I'm not a flat earther, but honestly I have more respect for them then mainstream science worshippers like him.
@meowski He honestly makes flat earth more appealing and I absolutely hate to say that.

@meowski Are you talking about Professor Dave?
@beardalaxy We don't know if the whole thing was staged or not.
