@awry Rust's shitty trademark policies are alone a reason to avoid using that language. Plus, it's controlled by Mozilla (Google's controlled opposition). I would also suggest avoiding Golang because apparently, Google is considering telemetry in their implementation. (Supposedly, it's opt-in, but still)

Apparently the new trademark policy of the rust language will only allow you to organize a rust event / conference if you prohibit firearms! I'm not sure what firearms have to do with trademark, but surely the Rust Foundation is run by commies.

@ArdainianRight Good luck fixing that smiley face scar on the chest and the arm with the flesh harvested.

@ArdainianRight @matrix Putin and Xi are just the opposite side of the same coin. I've been telling everyone that, but nobody listens. All international relations are fake just like how all (s)elections and puppet politicians are fake. They're all controlled by central banksters, freemasons, and the Vatican.

Stumbled upon another homebrew... my F-Zero kick is dying down a bit, but this still kinda fits the mood.

G-Zero (not to be confused the canceled Virtual Boy game, Zero Racers) is about as close as you're getting to an F-Zero game on Game Boy, though the presentation and controls bring to mind Squaresoft's Rad Racer/Highway Star on NES.

This one's surprisingly more fleshed-out than HuZero, going beyond the simplistic Score Attack style in favor of actually having you compete against other racers on tracks that are slightly more complicated than a mostly-straight road.

@PhenomX6 @nukie @colonelj @p @get @mintcel I didn't like 9chan only because their markup language wasn't the standard markup language used on most imageboards, and Josh had some stupid policy where you couldn't create a board with the same name of any 4chan board.

I honestly, thought that the webring should've been the future of imageboards. 8chan's create-your-own-board feature just made everything centralized.

@galena @PhenomX6 @nukie @colonelj @p @get @mintcel The creator of ZeroNet suggested that everyone should create smaller sites that were easier to moderate. ZeroNet even had "merger sites" which pretty much operate just like the fedi (except that it's all P2P) where people can moderate smaller sites that connect with other sites.

I had a lot of faith in ZeroNet despite it's flaws. I wanted it to become the next big thing, but I was very naive.

Another problem with ZeroNet is that it is not anonymous and unless you are using Tor or a VPN, your IP address will be visible to everyone. Most people who were using the 8chan bunker were doing so under their bare IP.

@PhenomX6 @nukie @colonelj @p @get @mintcel Someone even tried to do the same thing with the imageboard webring. After 2019, if you ran a site that seemed to be a bunker or "spiritual successor" to 8chan, you were either going to get CP spammed or have your domain registrar harassed into taking your site down.

@mrsaturday @ArdainianRight Just his name alone sounds stupid. For whatever reason, every time I hear his name I think of /pol/ even though he was a communist.

@ArdainianRight Both are pushed by anti-natalists, population control advocates, and voluntary human extinctionists. There is a good reason why both "rights" are lumped in with each other.

@lanodan Won't work. They're just puppets that can easily be replaced. You need to throw the shoes at the shadow government.

@galena I don't know. I have used Google search in years.
