so (decentralized?) #bluesky rolled out an iOS app before they added a second server, right after #substack rolled out notes and media companies started talking about leaving Twitter. it exists to serve Twitter and is a delaying tactic against the #fediverse. same with #nostr.
what we're building here is a threat to all entrenched wealth and power. it will remove all unearned influence over our attention. it enables people power like the world has never seen before. they should be afraid.
@PhenomX6 You're better off just using GitHub Pages and just have a static site that everyone can make pull requests to.
@ArdainianRight These same Autism Rights people are also the ones who bitch about words like "stupid", "crazy", and "dumb" being "ableist" and "sanist".
@vriska Women can't be chads.

Surprisingly, development is going along fast. I think it's because there are no boss fights this time (I can't think how a Spy Hunter clone can have boss fights). The car physics is the only true challenge.
@ArdainianRight This should debunk the myth that transitioning at a young age is the better solution.
@xianc78
@LukeAlmighty I was working at 13. It was way better than being board out of my mind or my two working parents having to pay extra for a summer camp. I could even buy things for myself AND learned a proper work ethic.
"If I'm being paid to be there, then I'm doing something."
@LukeAlmighty People don't understand the difference between child labor and child slavery.
@zoomgoboom @nekofag Ultimately it depends on your situation. If you live in a country with internet censorship laws, or you have controversial views while still having a conventional job, then yes hiding your real name is a good idea. Likewise, if you are already famous then it makes sense to go by your real name. You can always create other accounts that aren't attached to your real ID.
I honestly don't know why people would give a fuck if other people go by their real name. It's their choice and they assume the risk. As long as other people still have the choice to be (pseudo)-anonymous, who cares?
@nekofag @pasture That's a last name. Not a first name.
