Been working on lots of internal stuff so not much visible progress. I got way more sub-model parsing for Quake BSPs done. I have func_door and my own set of custom lights. The light movement is actually on a path_corner Quake entity.
No, this is not a "Quake port", but I heavily use the BSP format used by Quake and it's tools.
I use the Quake-style lights as positions for "shadowcasters" (not shown), where they cache the static geometry into a depth buffer and then apply an mask to another buffer when the static geometry is occluded by a dynamic entity. This lets me cast shadows onto baked lighting without contributing new light. Then I just have regular pointlight cubemaps (shown).
