@bonifartius @theorytoe @gabriel @Hephaestic I don't forgive them even for a minute. They planned the whole thing (look up Event 201) and the damage has already been done.

@bonkmaykr Make sure the clock battery isn't dead. Those things are known to fail regularly.

> Trump Media will use the approximately $2.32 billion in net proceeds from the Offering to create a Bitcoin treasury and for other general corporate purposes and working capital.

Okay, but how much of it will be used to purchase Bitcoin, and how much of it will be used for other general corporate purposes and working capital ?

@bonifartius @theorytoe @gabriel Many did admit that they were wrong, including mainstream outlets, but at the same time it seems like those articles were buried.

There were also cases of people who had all charges against them cleared after being arrested during the lockdowns. The most notable is Ian Smith who kept his gym open and got arrested for it. Last year, he won a lawsuit against the government and now has enough money to retire. Of course, that story was buried.

@gabriel i find it absolutely insane that there are people think that the covid crackdown was done in good faith

@gabriel I wouldn't say that I have regrets, but it gets pretty annoying when your workplace or school requires you to use a program that requires Windows or just works better on Windows.

It is also annoying that some other tools are almost non-existent on Linux. ROM hacking and tools for abstracting assets from console games are almost all Windows exclusive.

With the sorry state of Windows these days, does anyone really have any regrets from making the switch to Gnu/Linux as their main system?
My guess is that far fewer would say so now than even 5 years ago.

The initial excuse the state used to take control of the lottery, was that mobsters were taking too high of a cut 🙄

@Linux @gaufff Monero is not a scam. It's the closest thing to digital cash there is. It's uniquely uncensorable, unlike Bitcoin and every other non-private cryptocoin project in existence.

Changed the lava tiles to make it look like it's bubbling, but it ended up looking weird. Judging from other games, lava tiles tend to have 4 frames of animation instead of three, but if I add an extra frame then I need to add an extra frame to the water tilesets.

Technically Fediverse does deter "influencers" of any stripe from really gaining traction, but regular right-wing anons and their instances do just fine, and have their own viable ecosystem.
