As far as I'm aware, we already knew that there was some cheating going on in the last independence referendum, but even more cheating has come out as apparently they had approved the immigration to Québec in the last month or so before the vote by like 400% or something

It was the Liberals doing, because of course, and they're strangely silent now, not helping their cases considering that the PQ is on the top of the polls and they apparently intend to reopen the investigations about this

Reminder that the vote was lost by about 1% too

I'm starting to think that the true purpose of the deprecation of the penny is to get stores to stop accepting cash because I'm noticing that more and more stores are requesting for exact change or having some new weird change policy. It wouldn't surprise me if they can't keep up with this and have to ditch cash payments all together.

@SuperDicq @icedquinn He still refuses to acknowledge the fact that the "victim" of the "who/cares" incident probably wasn't even trans/non-binary (they didn't even take their own pronouns seriously and was probably just a troll) despite him clearly reading Vaxry's blogpost and even referencing it at one point.

People should NEVER let that one down. Drew DeVault probably ruined the potential future careers of many people contributing to that project in hopes to put it on a resume regardless if they were participating in the locker room behavior or not.

I once had a genuine conversation with Drew Devault about neurodiversity and autism and why it makes people act like they do, before he was writing his one of his pieces on Richard Stallman.

I explained it to him very well and he even said that I understood where I was coming from, etc.

Then a few days later he publishes his fucking article anyway, doesn't include any of my points (because it didn't fit his narrative) and DELETES the conversation I had with him.
