That's the other important thing: immune systems are INSANELY complex. There's the adaptive immune system, the inane system, the complement protein system ... real immune memory is complex because it is based on millions of years of random traits helping or hurting. Not every infection can build immune system memory, and it might be impossible for coronaviruses and rhinoviruses.
With these new medications, they're forcing your body to produce one thing; one tiny part of a virus .. and we know how the spike protein isn't just a means for the virus to enter your cells. The spike causes damage; it is itself cytotoxic.
There are likely hundreds of other little pieces that contribute to immune system memory we don't know about. These drugs are the ultimate hubris; to think we can just hack biology like computer code; that we reduce millions of years of random changes into mechanical formulations.
