I believe there is no selfless act. When you do something you (sometime subconsciously) expect to get something for it. Even if it is throwing yourself in front of a bus to save a random kid or something. You're doing it because you'd feel horrible about it or whatever. It's not what would happen to the kid, it's what would happen to you.

This is not a bad thing. It is just a thing that is. If you gotta jump under the buss not to feel horrible later, jump, and godspeed.

As if twitter wasnt bad enough, they have taken away practically ALL forms of speech. No like counts, qrt counts, doubling down on anything but their garbage entirely.
