AMD has said that they'll be open sourcing more of their software stack and documentation in the future. Now "open source" can be a vague term. The license matters. Time will tell if they follow through. I know it won't satisfy all but more of their stuff being FOSS is better than less.

Okay, here is what I've been working on so far. I'm trying a different client this time. It's a roguelite dungeon crawler with Zelda-like elements. The game is written in C++ using the SFML framework.

I know RedHat used to to this before they found a loophole in the GPL, but I never heard of anyone doing it with games (games with proprietary assets don't count). Another idea is to sell physical copies for collectors because collectors will naturally go for official copies.
