I didn't mention it earlier, but it is also morally okay to slaughter cats for meat and leather too. Kill any non-humans animals as you like.

In fact, I think the best way to solve the stray pet problem is to just convert them to meat and leather. It will keep our streets safe while boosting the economy!

This Hyprland situation is just another reason why I fucking hate all this drama when it comes to FOSS projects. It's always due to bullshit reasons and it either kills a project or significantly hurts a project.

From what I can tell, the Hyprland community is mostly tame. They do engage in edgy humor but there is nothing wrong with that. It doesn't seem like Vaxry was using slurs or posting anything bigoted. And according to a podcast, he does ban people who are truly problematic.

But no, you had to use your janny powers to ban someone from FDO because they're lax when it comes to community moderation.

Though this situation is pretty mild compared to similar events, but this kind of behavior does eventually lead to the more extreme scenarios, such as complaining about "casual ableist language" (using words like "dumb" or "crazy"), throwing a hissy fit because a project is accepting crypto donations, or the PM rejecting someone's proposed BLM splash screen when the program starts up.
