Microsoft is putting privacy-endangering Recall back into Windows 11
Snapshotting and AI processing a screen every 3 seconds. What could possibly go wrong?

This would be a LOT better if people cared about newsletters on something other than email. Would be cool if podcasting 2.0 also kindled interest in premium RSS feeds.

Have you been a bit concerned about the growth of the surveillance state? So have we. Cameras everywhere, stores logging serial numbers, automatic number plate recognition systems, and even facial recognition now. That's why my company has introduced 'Privacy Proxy', a service where a real human (company) will purchase goods on your behalf and ship them onward in a manor that'll preserve your privacy. Nothing says we have to preserve the details of an order, log the serial numbers of products, or keep a log of every shipment. We can even use cash to pay for S&H and BURN THE RECEIPT!
:) So... if you need someone who can keep a secret check out ThinkPenguin.com for the details on the service and then watch us burn the S&H receipt of our first proxy purchase order (yea, we're literally burning the meta data):
>PS5 still has only like 3 exclusives
>Xbox Series X|S doesn't seem to be fairing much better
>Now Switch 2 is probably going to be a failure because nobody can afford it
It seems like the 9th gen is just going to end up as a failure (Steam Deck doesn't count). I never thought it could ever get worse than the 3DO era, but here we are. Just to think that if console generations were as long as they were 20 years ago, it would be wrapping up.
