UK Gov has backtracked. But don't worry, they'll do a false flag, and use it an excuse to ban VPN anyways.

I mean, if they had just taken a moment out of organizing an international BDS movement against the UK, and letter writing to every CEO of every major UK company to pressure them to pressure the government to back down, then I would concede that yes, Florida is also being shitty and it's legitimate for them to talk about that too.

But they're not, just like they didn't do a damn thing when half the world implemented digital ID to go to a restaurant, because the EFF is a meme.

There seriously needs to be more adults-only places just without the adult things. I don't care about sex, drugs, alcohol, or gambling. I just want to get away from screaming children and rowdy teenagers.

@xianc78 This is the story of every indie game. Getting big as an indie developer isn't so much as making a good game, but more to chance, may it be due to networking or going viral.

I just realized that in less than two months, it will be Undertale's 10th anniversary, so allow me to remind you that Toby Fox is a talentless fucking hack that does not deserve a fraction of the fame and fortune he received from his meme game.

Seriously, name one other person who went viral on their first try (Undertale was his first video game outside of ROM hacks) while using a program that many of us messed with back in elementary school or middle school.

Not only that but he got to Japan, take over Sakurai's Famistu column, and have his sequel be featured in the Nintendo Switch 2's trailer. I find this all ironic because Toby Fox was previously a ROM hacker, which is usually a big no-no in Nintendo's eyes, but they let this all slide.

And what is special about Undertale, really? The pacifist mechanics? Many JRPGs had pacifist mechanics since the original Phantasy Star. The quirky and memorable characters? I can name a thousand games with just as many "quirky and memorable" characters if not more.

No, the only reason why it ever got popular was because of his friends on the Starmen forums along with Earthbound's popularity becoming mainstream thanks to it being released on the Wii U VC around the same time. If it weren't for that, I highly doubt it would have ever gotten insanely popular.

Deepseek V3 did a good job at writing an export script for bezier curves from blender, and then writing a function to interpolate the data.

I'm not surprised. But it's nice to find legitimate value in LLMs. I'm just really bad at math-shit.

@JoeBravo77 There are long term consequences to being part of an over domesticated society with a tendency to follow rules unquestioningly.

If I do sell my game, what would be a fair price?

The game will be FOSS so you can freely redistribute it, either way.

Democracy is when one party runs on X, the other party runs on Y, then after the election they both do Z no matter what, and somehow this counts as the people voting for it regardless of how they actually voted.
