I think "panty raids" are a shitty prank because it's literally a form of burglary, but to call it "sexual harassment" is a bit of a stretch. It would be one thing if you encounter a woman only wearing panties, but taking their panties out of their dressers or closets is no different than touching some girls panties after doing a load of laundry.
Learning that a fucking Spongebob episode was taken off of circulation just because it featured a panty raid was the shittiest thing I have ever heard.
And for those who wonder why boys are into such things, it's very simple: boys, especially in their adolescence are curious about girls. They use separate bathrooms and sleep in separate bedrooms (for the most part), and experience completely different forms of puberty, so these raids are an excuse to get a glimpse of what these generally girls-only spaces are like.
Again, it's something I would never condone, and it's something I have never done myself, but I think it's rather tame compared to something like sneaking into a girls locker-room while girls are taking a shower.
🤦♂️ I see a lot of people claiming to be genuine Native Americans in the comments complaining about this. I can't blame them.

And, yes. It says '1985' in the date. But, do not be fooled. For it is not actually 1985."

The vast majority of problems in the game industry can easily be solved if we had a truly free market where "intellectual property" laws don't exist. That way games will have to compete with other games in the same franchise.
Don't like how Nintendo is casualizing Pokemon? Just buy the Pokemon games made by this other studio. Don't like how Blizzard makes the newer Diablo games either online or mobile only? Play the Diablo games made by this other company that makes them for PC and playable offline.

I just created a website for Ioncom (my gamedev studio). Nothing much yet. Will get a proper domain soon.
So I just learned that the Spongebob episode where Spongebob and Patrick tried to get Mr. Krabs to feel young again is not on Paramount+ and has also been taken off of re-run circulation on Nick because the episode featured a "panty raid".
I've also learned that many episodes of 90s and 2000s TV shows have been taken out of circulation and off streaming services because they used the word "gypped".
I'm so fucking sick and tired of this bullshit. I would have never thought that early 2000s humor or media that used certain words, even taken in a non-derogatory context would be on the same level as racist cartoons from the 1950s.
