I'll have better graphs soon-ish. This just covers FSE and instances FSE can see, but I've had the little crawlers wandering fedi regularly. (Part of the issue with the data I have right now is that a lot of it is incomplete for instances that I didn't handle correctly before because I'm still playing with the crawlers and fixing bugs. So, for example, on the 27th I fixed a bug caused by the crawler not understanding Diaspora, and this made the total user count jump by ~640k, and 640k ought to be enough for anybody to discount the data. )
