I hate that mental illnesses exist, because there are some good people out there who struggle with things like depression or anxiety.

But worse than that, I despise the overdiagnosed, overmedicated pronoun bio crowd who use instability as a social crutch to excuse acting like assholes while still getting to play the victim.

They do have a problem, yes, but it's not what they think it is. It's that they were groomed into fighting a war they don't understand.

I would that you're arguing that it's not "stable money" not that it's not "money", stable being a subjective measure of the individual.

1. Nothing is "recognized by all", I can't purchase goods at most conventional stores, I'd have to exchange it for fiat or gift card, just like you'd have to for bitcoin.

2. Even precious metals fluctuate in price/worth, granted, not widely as btc, but they've stores of value for millennia.

3. People buy goods and services all the time with bitcoin, granted in more tech savvy markets, any threshold of "a lot" or "widely used" is arbitrary.

All that being said, technically money is what ever people think is money, so what might be money to one is not money to an other, and honestly everything about it is subjective and arbitrary.

"The Waco massacre is proof that, as the late libertarian Karl Hess put it, 'whenever you put your faith in big government for any reason, sooner or later you end up an apologist for mass murder.' Those of us who understand this must continue to spread the truth... Key to regaining our liberty is making government officials abide by the same rules against the initiation of violence that apply to private citizens."

@ChristiJunior @genetic_failure @Publius Celeste is the only puzzle platformer I've ever finished (I prefer strategy and builder games, but I had a few Nintendo bucks left, and it was on sale). As someone who *does* have depression, the story felt so false that it almost made me ragequit in a few places. And that was before I heard anything about a retcon.

The Conspiracy Theory Cycle:

1) “That’s insanity! You’re crazy!” 2) “Well your story is wrong, here’s the Official Story” 3) “Well your facts are debunked, here’s the Official Facts” 4) “Well your facts may be true but it’s bad because it’s racist and Not Okay” 5) “Well your theory is dangerous, think of the implications” 6) “Well you just need to shut the fuck up” 7) “POLICE, HE’S OVER HERE, GET HIM!”

@ChristiJunior @genetic_failure @Publius Leftists love circlejerking over mental illness and wallowing in misery. On the other hand, the chad Japanese know that you can overcome your depression and anything else with The Power Of Friendship.

God forbid only 99 out of 100 Western game devs be communists, it has to be 100 out of 100, otherwise Zombie Hitler will gas 6 gorillion more Jews.

You can say what you want about the picks for Smash DLC, but at least all of the characters chosen are more relevant and noteworthy than Geno.

Hubzilla

When I heard the term nomadic identity in a conversation, I immediately started looking into it.

A way to have your online identity and all your posts preserved and be able to migrate on a whim whenever and wherever you please?

And that's how I came across Hubzilla.

Launched in 2012, it's an alternative to Mastodon/Pleroma/Misskey with more advanced privacy features, but that also offers users a way to interact with the aforementioned social networks via plugin.

It exists since 2012, while Pleroma was released in 2016, yet I never heard of it until recently.

One would think that such an advanced social network software would be somewhat more adopted, but the userbase is incredibly small.

The most popular Hubzilla instance, node9, has merely 137 registered users total.

I don't mean to imply anything by the following statement, but Hubzilla gives off TempleOS vibes to me.
