My state has the lowest case count and hospitalization rate since early rona so now they throw up these charts showing that some big number like 70% of new cases are from the Indian variant intended to scare people ,but fail to put it into context that like it’s out of 100 cases a day not 4 or 5 thousand a day like during the heat of the demic. Twitter is a circular firing squad, Reddit is a karma-farming ARG that trains conformists, Facebook forces politics on you to try to create engagement, and they're fire-and-forget platforms that don't require hosting costs or PHP knowledge or your users to use BBCode and host their own images. It's sad to see what everything has become.

@coolboymew @mimorinka I've always preferred to observe lolcows rather than fuck with them because the goal to me is to document their lives. These people are trainwrecks without me or anyone else like me interfering in their lives. I'd say most kiwifarm members are like this although there are definitely a subgroup that will openly or privately go out of their way to fuck with a cow.

I would be lying if I said some cows didn't deserve it because they're objectively bad people but it goes against the entire principle of the matter.

It seems a lot of people forgot about the "don't touch the poop" rule and instead attempt to troll them online for reactions. A lot of other followers are massive haters and that ain't healthy either

Many governments want their people to fear for their lives. This is a basic way to control them.
Some large organizations are like governments, you can't tell the difference.
Some companies made a lot of money during that pandemic.

Now, let's imagine this never happened. Don't you think at least some governments, organizations and companies would like that pandemic to happen?

I'm not saying what happens now is not real. It may be totally real, it may be exaggerated (because media loves attention, right? it's money for them.)
I'm saying some people would like to repeat that and earn more money \ power, whatever they are after.

What I think we should do is stay calm, take all the data with a grain of salt and check it several times and don't let the people in power keep the control they got over our lives during the past months. We should be free to walk, free to take whatever medicine we want (or refuse to take it), free to visit our relatives or leave our country for a while.

The subtext of #vegan is animal life is higher than human life, that's why they don't mention the side effect and nutritional supplements while promoting the #veganism.
