OLED Switch will not let you insert an sdcard without a system update. It's literally never been connected to the Internet since I've had it. I got my jig; I think I'm going to try to load some custom firmware first. I now never want to connect this device to the Internet ever. Fuck you Nintendo.

Honestly, the Dreamcast didn't seem like a bad console now that I'm looking a bit into it. Quite the opposite, back in the days, this was PC quality for a cheap price ($199 at launch according to what I'm reading). And not any PC quality, it actually looks and feels good!

The PS2 and the XBOX wouldn't launch until 2-3 years later or so. Both would cost $299. That's $100 more. Sure, they launched a little bit later and their specs would be a little bit higher but I'd dare to say that the Dreamcast still had enough performance to compete.
