I think the number of active accounts on fedi is probably higher than the number of active posters on 4chan, but I think the feds don't understand fedi very well. (On the other hand, the EU is here, and individual feds might understand fedi, though I don't know how much latitude they have to pick where they post.) So maybe Germany's got people here.
