The control apparatus of this dead shithole empire is so overwhelmed and demoralized that they can't stop new nations from forming anymore. They can't project power like they used to and their monopoly on violence and social control is collapsing at an alarming speed.

Those lefty autonomous zones were just a taste of what's to come when larger more organized groups are just fucking done dealing with the federal government and their bullshit.

Most of this only gets done when someone is willing to put their balls on the chopping block but once it starts others fall in step behind them.

TL;DR: Balkanization.

"Thank You" should only be said to people who EARNED it. Why are we expected to thank those who don't even try to help us or half-ass everything?

Like if you were given a smart home device and you made it explicitly clear that you don't even want one, you shouldn't have to thank the person, but you are expected to thank them anyway. Are you also supposed to thank someone if they give you a poisoned meal?

fedi.cc Honk server database seems to be fine.
However the Honk application itself seems to have shit the bed. I logged in and all my posts are missing and it's not responding to @'s.

It will come back. fedi.cc just will be migrating as planned, to Pleroma faster than I expected I guess.

Honk is GREAT, it worked perfectly for us for YEARS with zero maintenance. Thank you, @tedu . We will always love Honk.

We are just moving to a different Fedi server software so that the next generation of bots can have more interactivity features, and more responsiveness via websocket.
